Remember that amazing comic The Oatmeal made to prove the mantis shrimp's awesomeness? So I've been watching Nat Geo Wild the other day, and came up with my own favorite animal. Well, second favorite. Nothing beats cats. And bunnies. And squirrels. Ooo- and arctic foxes! OK, I guess you get the drift. The critter you're about to meet is AMONG my favorite animals. Now that we've established its position in my 'favorites' hierarchy, let me show you how the short-tailed shrew earned it.
